Hi all you MAC lovers out there!  Are you all enjoying your new goodies from the 2013 "Temperature Rising Collection"? ??

I have just starting really digging into my goodies.  I know this may sound almost sac-religious to some of you out there, but I am not that impressed at all over the highly-coveted "Bare My Soul" quad.  I prefer the "Temperature Rising" quad any day of the week!

The Dazzle lipstick and Dazzle lipglasses I adore!  I have a few extra of these little darlings.  They are so very pretty.  Every single time I pick up the tube, pop off the lid, twist the lipstick up until I see it's pretty little head, I fall in love each time.  It always make me smile.  And then there are the lipglasses (heavy sigh).  What is not to love?  They are great paired with the Dazzle lipsticks, or they would even be great all on their own.  You truly can't go wrong!

I would like to take a moment to give a little love to one of the lipglasses in this collection that is not getting the hype it should.  It is "Liquid Passion" lipglass.  It is fantastic!  It is a gorgeous nude lipglass.  And the texture is incredible.  It is so smooth and shiny.  It is not sticky at all.  It gives such a beautiful sheen to the lips.  Dare I say it?  All right, well here it is:  It's porn-star lips at their very best!

The next little gem I would like to discuss would be "Ripe For Love" blush.  It is as beautiful as everyone has said.  It is the perfect summer blush.  You won't be disappointed.  And, yes, if you don't get it, you will have skipper's remorse.  Just get it!

Speaking of skipper's remorse, that is exactly what I was going through when I didn't place my order for "Hot Nights" blush.  Thankfully, the MAC store near me still had it in stock.  Thank heavens.  I would have been kicking myself over that one.  I haven't tried it yet, but I am sure I will love it.  If I don't, you will be the first ones to know.

Moving right along, I want to give a thumb's up for the "Golden Elixir" Strobe Liquid Lotion.  At first I was hesitant to make this purchase since I already own the regular Strobe Cream.  I am happy that I purchased two of them.  I am a little longer-in-the-tooth than a lot of you makeup junkies out there, so I value dewiness more and more each day.  The way I am currently using it is this:  After I apply my moisturizer, Strobe Cream, then primer, I then mix my foundation in a 50/50 formula with a combo of the Strobe Cream and the Golden Elixir.  It really does impart a nice dewy finish.  It really does soften the whole look, thereby making my skin look a little younger.  Need I say more?  Buy it!

Well, that's my two cents on this collection so far.  Let me know what you think!

Happy Hauling!
